Employment Type: Part time Shift: 12 Hour Evening Shift Description: Part Time 48 hours per pay, Schedule: 11am to 11pm with rotation to every other weekend. Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital has an opening for a part time (48 hours bi-weekly) 11a - 11pm with rotation to every other weekend The Emergency Room Technician functions under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse. He/she provides non-licensed direct patient care to neonate through geriatric patients. He/she assists the healthcare team by providing personal assistance to patients by caring for the patient, equipment and supplies and also by providing clerical and nursing care support services. Requirements: High school graduate or equivalent required. Previous nursing assistant, EMT, and/or emergency room experience required. 1 year previous experience in a hospital, Rehabilitation Center, or acute care setting required. Providing care to more than 1 patient per shift. Current BLS certification.
