GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education or training involving judgment and/or analytical ability in the logistics field. Experience using computer and automation systems.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Application must indicate at least 24 months experience, education, or training involving detailed knowledge of organizations and their functions in logistical support (i.e., supply, maintenance, quality assurance, facilities). Experience integrating actions of a variety of specialized support activities in order to meet program goals. Experience interpreting and applying regulations, laws or practices. Experience planning and organizing work assignment.
QUALITY OF EXPERIENCE: Length of time is not of itself qualifying. Candidates' experience should be evaluated on the basis of duties performed rather than strictly on the rank of the individual; however, established compatibility criteria/assignments must be followed. The applicant's record of experience, training, and education must show possession of the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to fully perform the duties of the position to be filled.

Responsibilities:
As a Logistics Management Specialist, GS-0346-09, you will develop, implement and evaluate the logistics and property accountability policies for the organization. Responsible for the property book operations of the organization in the areas of inventory management, storage management, equipment coordination and supply management. Maintain property book accountability utilizing an automated system and/or related computer programs to account for property. Ensure compliance with the command supply discipline program (CSDP), and other directed command inspection programs. Coordinates with the USPFO, state level Joint Force Headquarters (JFHQ) and subordinate units of the organization on the lateral transfer and/or turn in of excess property. Establish quality procedures and oversees the edit of all source documentation. Provide guidance and funds management for all decentralized logistics funds. May be required to represent the National Guard and the unit Commander in the community. Perform other duties as assigned.Salary : $62,972
