Our freight includes propane, butane, asphalt, anhydrous ammonia, and other regulated HazMat products. We are committed to safe operations, dependable service, and building long-term relationships with experienced professional drivers who understand the responsibility that comes with transporting specialized freight.
This is a 1099 independent contractor position based out of our Greensboro, NC terminal. All drivers will report to, operate from, and be dispatched from the Greensboro terminal.
Compensation
Our percentage-based pay structure gives drivers the opportunity to increase their earnings by taking advantage of available loads, long-distance routes, and high-demand transportation periods.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of direct experience hauling propane and butane
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
- Current HazMat and Tanker
- Current TWIC card
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and safe driving history
- Current DOT medical certification
- Ability to meet all applicable DOT and FMCSA driver qualification requirements
- Ability to successfully complete required drug and alcohol testing
- Knowledge of HazMat transportation, placarding, loading/unloading procedures, and tanker safety
- Ability and willingness to travel long distance and across state lines
- Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and professional customer service
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience hauling asphalt
- Experience hauling anhydrous ammonia
- Experience transporting HazMat materials over long-distance/interstate routes
- Experience operating pressurized or specialized tanker equipment
- Experience with multiple types of liquid or bulk HazMat freight
- Strong knowledge of DOT HazMat documentation and safety procedures
Pay: $95,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
