Job Overview
Williams Sewer & Drain, Inc. is seeking a dependable and hardworking Portable Restroom Technician to join our growing team. This position is responsible for the delivery, setup, servicing, cleaning, maintenance, and pickup of portable restroom units at construction sites, special events, and commercial locations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a safe and professional work environment. This is a full-time, outdoor position that requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery & Service Operations
- Deliver, set up, service, and remove portable restroom units at customer locations.
- Operate pump/service trucks safely and efficiently.
- Navigate daily service routes using GPS and route planning tools.
- Safely pull, back, and maneuver trailers and service vehicles.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and securing portable restroom units.
Cleaning & Sanitization
- Pump waste from portable restroom units.
- Pressure wash and sanitize units to company standards.
- Restock supplies including toilet paper, hand sanitizer, and other consumables.
- Ensure all units meet cleanliness and sanitation requirements.
Maintenance & Repairs
- Perform routine inspections of portable restroom units.
- Identify leaks, damage, or service issues.
- Complete minor repairs and maintenance as needed.
- Assist with handling hoses, pumps, and sanitation equipment.
Customer Service
- Communicate professionally with customers, site managers, event coordinators, and construction crews.
- Address customer concerns promptly and courteously.
- Represent Williams Sewer & Drain, Inc. in a professional manner at all times.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all company safety procedures and sanitation regulations.
- Safely handle waste materials, chemicals, and cleaning agents.
- Maintain accurate service records and route documentation.
- Keep service trucks clean, organized, and inspection-ready.
Additional Duties
- Assist with other operational duties as assigned by management.
- Support team members during peak workloads and special projects.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License required.
- CDL Class B preferred.
- Clean driving record required.
- Ability to safely operate service trucks and trailers.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Ability to follow directions and company procedures.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week, including occasional overtime as needed.

- Strong vehicle operation and route management skills.

- Ability to maintain accurate service records.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, move, and secure equipment and portable restroom units weighing up to 75 pounds or more.
- Ability to pull and handle 14-foot wire and other job-related materials.
- Ability to handle hoses, pumps, and sanitation equipment.
- Frequent lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout the day.
Working Conditions
- Primarily outdoor work environment.
- Exposure to varying weather conditions, sanitation waste, odors, chemicals, and cleaning agents.
- Regular use of service trucks, pumps, hoses, and sanitation equipment.
- Occasional weekend or after-hours work may be required based on business needs.
