Excavator Operator / Plumbing Install

Location: Mount Gilead, NC
Pay:  (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-time

Overview

We are hiring a reliable Excavator Operator with plumbing install experience to support new construction projects. This role includes operating equipment and assisting with underground plumbing installations.

Responsibilities

  • Operate excavators (trenching, grading, backfilling)
  • Assist with plumbing installs (underground piping, layout, connections)
  • Read blueprints and follow site plans
  • Perform daily equipment checks and basic maintenance
  • Follow all safety procedures (OSHA standards)
  • Work with team to complete jobs on time
  • Assist with general labor as needed

Requirements

  • 2 years of excavator experience (mini required)
  • Plumbing install or underground utility experience preferred
  • Ability to read blueprints and layouts
  • Ability to work outdoors and perform physical labor
  • Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus)
  • Strong work ethic and reliability

Work Environment

  • Outdoor work in all weather conditions
  • Fast-paced construction sites
