Responsibilities
- Lead and support the design of electrical systems, including medium and low voltage power distribution
- Perform field verification, site assessments, and system evaluations
- Prepare construction documents, permit packages, and technical specifications
- Coordinate designs with architects, engineers, and clients
- Manage construction administration tasks, including RFIs, submittals, and site visits
- Conduct power system analysis, includes arc flash and short circuit coordination
- Work independently on infrastructure design projects with minimal supervision
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, with a focus on Power and Energy Systems or related field
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Engineer in Training (EIT) Certificate preferred
- The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in electrical power systems design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETAP/SKM, and Revit
- Experience with infrastructure or port projects is a plus
- Project management experience is a plus
- Experience with medium voltage projects is a plus
- Experience with the National Electrical Code (NEC)
