15 years of experience in Mainframe application development with strong expertise in COBOL, CICS, DB2, and VSAM.
Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise COBOL applications supporting critical business processes.
Develop and maintain CICS online applications, including transaction processing, program integration, and production support.
Design and optimize DB2 programs, SQL queries, stored procedures, and database interactions within mainframe applications.
Develop and maintain VSAM files, including file structures, access methods, data processing, and troubleshooting.
Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable mainframe application solutions.
Perform application debugging, production support, root-cause analysis, and resolution of complex mainframe issues.
Develop and maintain JCL and batch processing jobs, including job scheduling, execution, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and other technology teams throughout the SDLC, including code reviews, testing, implementation, and releases.
Experience with SAS is highly preferred, along with strong communication, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills in enterprise mainframe environments.
