- Required: IN X-Ray License required.
- Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) Certification or willing to obtain upon hire.
- Perform expanded clinical duties allowed by state regulations, such as placing restorations, polishing, applying sealants and fluoride, taking impressions, coronal polishing, and packing/retrieving cord.
- Assist the dentist during a full range of restorative, prosthodontic, and surgical procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for each patient and ensure efficient room turnover.
- Take high-quality digital X-rays, intraoral photos, and impressions/scans (traditional or digital).
- Fabricate temporary crowns, bridges, and provisional restorations while checking bite, margins and contacts
- Performing caries susceptibility testing,
- Mix and prepare dental materials (cements, bonding agents, composites, impression materials).
- Preferred: Maintaining a budget, dental equipment knowledge and ability to communicate effectively with dental repair companies.
