What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Project Manager position at P. W. Grosser Consulting - Environmental Engineers?
Independently manage all aspects of multiple or large projects, overseeing both technical and administrative functions within our Engineering team. May provide technical support to our our Environmental and Compliance teams. Apply business development strategies to grow new business with existing and prospective clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership:
Demonstrate mastery of Project Manager responsibilities, including planning, execution, and delivery of projects to meet client expectations and company standards. - Resource Management:
Communicate project backlog and resource needs to leadership. Make recommendations for distributing work throughout the unit to maximize staff utilization and ensure project schedules are met. Collaborate across units to allocate resources as needed. - Business Development:
Proactively generate new and repeat business by building relationships with clients, identifying opportunities, and promoting the firm's services. - Financial Coordination:
Work closely with the Accounting team to support invoicing and collections, ensuring timely and accurate financial management for all assigned projects. - Staff Development:
Coach and mentor staff, providing guidance, feedback, and support to foster professional growth and maintain high performance standards.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program, or
- 4-year Engineering Technology degree, successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam, and prior experience as a Project Engineer, or
- 2-year Engineering Science/Technology degree, successful completion of the FE exam, and prior experience as a Project Engineer.
Experience:
Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant engineering experience, including project management responsibilities.
PE License preferred
Salary Range:
$150,000 - $180,000 (Depending on Experience)
