P’s Junk Removal & Demolition is hiring an experienced Demolition Laborer to assist with residential and commercial demolition and junk removal projects. We are looking for someone dependable, hardworking, safety-conscious, and comfortable performing physically demanding work.
This is not an entry-level position. Previous demolition, junk removal, or construction experience is required.
Responsibilities
* Perform interior and selective demolition
* Remove flooring, drywall, cabinets, fixtures, and other materials
* Remove and load furniture, household items, construction debris, and junk
* Safely operate hand and power tools
* Load and unload trucks, equipment, and job materials
* Sort and properly dispose of debris
* Protect customers’ property during each project
* Maintain clean and organized jobsites
* Follow directions from the Crew Lead
* Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
Qualifications
* Minimum of one year of demolition, junk removal, or construction experience
* Reliable transportation to the designated meeting location
* Experience safely using hand and power tools
* Ability to lift and carry heavy materials safely
* Ability to work indoors, outdoors, on stairs, and in changing weather conditions
* Dependable, punctual, and able to work well with a team
* Steel-toe boots and all-black work clothing with no words or graphics
A driver’s license is not required for this position.
