Position Overview: We are seeking a proactive and very organized Outbound Business Development Specialist to spearhead our lead generation efforts through strategic partnerships. You’ll connect with real estate agents, home builders, and solar companies to generate leads for our security system installations. Your role will involve outreach, networking, and relationship-building activities with a goal of securing 10 leads per day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Weekly Goal: Generate 10 qualified leads daily by forming partnerships with industry contacts.
Strategic Partnership Development
- Identify and Engage with Industry Partners: Proactively reach out to potential partners within the real estate, construction, property management, local chambers of commerce and related sectors to explore and establish mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Develop Customized Partnership Proposals: Tailor partnership proposals that highlight mutual benefits, including lead referrals, co-branded marketing efforts, and client loyalty initiatives, focusing on shared growth.
- Negotiate and Formalize Agreements: Collaborate with partners to structure agreements that drive lead generation and build long-term relationships, ensuring clear terms that align with company goals and revenue objectives.
- Manage Ongoing Partner Relations: Maintain regular communication with partners to address any challenges, explore new collaborative opportunities, and review performance metrics.
- Track Partnership Impact: Measure and report on the effectiveness of each partnership using metrics such as lead volume, conversion rates, and revenue impact to ensure alignment with business goals.
Lead Generation & Sales Pipeline Management
- Develop and Execute Outreach Strategies: Design and implement a targeted approach for reaching potential clients through multiple channels (e.g., calls, emails, LinkedIn, networking events), aiming to meet daily and weekly lead generation goals.
- Utilize CRM for Pipeline Management: Track all outreach efforts, client interactions, and follow-ups in CRM software, ensuring up-to-date and organized records for effective pipeline management.
- Schedule and Conduct Follow-Ups: Follow up with warm leads from outreach efforts and networking events to further qualify prospects and nurture them through the sales pipeline.
- Collaborate with Sales Teams for Lead Handoffs: Work closely with the sales team to ensure smooth transitions of qualified leads, providing detailed insights and background for each prospect.
- Analyze and Report Outreach Effectiveness: Review metrics such as outreach success rates, conversion ratios, and feedback from potential clients to refine lead generation tactics and continuously improve engagement strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven Experience in Business Development or Sales: At least 2 years of experience in an outbound business development, sales, or related role, preferably within the security, alarm systems, or related industries.
- Strong Communication and Relationship-Building Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport, negotiate, and build long-term relationships with partners and clients.
- Goal-Oriented and Self-Motivated: Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed daily and weekly lead generation goals and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- CRM Proficiency: Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) for tracking outreach, managing the sales pipeline, and analyzing customer data to optimize lead generation.
- Strategic Thinking and Problem Solving: Skilled in identifying and evaluating potential partnership opportunities, understanding client needs, and developing tailored proposals that align with company objectives.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to measure the effectiveness of outreach strategies and partnership performance, leveraging insights to continuously improve outreach and relationship-building techniques.
- Networking Savvy: Experience attending industry events, conferences, or networking functions and gathering leads through in-person engagement.
- Basic Knowledge of Marketing Principles: Understanding of co-marketing strategies, branding, and social media engagement to support partnership growth.

Compensation:
Salary Commission: $30,000 - $100,000
Commission per Qualified Lead: $25.00
