Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate daily esports tournaments, practice sessions, and skill-building activities tailored to various age groups and skill levels
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment by implementing behavior management strategies and supervising campers during all activities
- Collaborate with fellow staff to plan engaging camp schedules that incorporate team-building exercises, recreational games, and educational components related to esports
- Provide guidance on game rules, sportsmanship, and teamwork to encourage positive social interactions among campers
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding camper progress and any important updates (while respecting privacy guidelines)
Qualifications
- Experience in classroom management, sports coaching, or working with children in educational or recreational settings
- Passionfor gaming is a huge benefit
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and engage young participants
- Certification or training in first aid and child safety procedures preferred
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage behavior effectively in a camp environment
