Role Description The Warehouse Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Chantilly, VA. This role is responsible for day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving deliveries, unloading trucks, and verifying incoming shipments. The Warehouse Associate will pack and stage orders, prepare products for shipping, and ensure accurate and efficient shipping and receiving processes. Daily tasks include operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, organizing inventory, maintaining a clean and safe work area, and following company policies and safety procedures. The role may also involve assisting with cycle counts, inventory checks, and supporting team members to meet operational deadlines.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Shipping & Receiving, including verifying orders, processing documentation, and maintaining accurate records.
- Hands-on experience with Packing and Unloading, ensuring products are handled carefully and efficiently.
- Proficiency in Forklift Operation and Pallet Jack use, with a commitment to safe equipment handling.
- Ability to lift and move boxes and materials as required, and stand or walk for extended periods.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and strong organizational skills in a warehouse environment.
- Basic math and computer skills for inventory tracking and order processing.
- Previous warehouse or distribution experience is preferred, especially in the food service or packaging industry.
- Willingness to follow safety guidelines, work collaboratively with team members, and adapt to changing operational needs.
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
