Job Description
P&P Security is seeking a dependable, professional, and experienced Flex Armed Security Officer to join our team.
This is a flex position designed to provide coverage as needed, including employee call-offs, vacations, scheduling gaps, and other operational needs. Candidates must have open and flexible availability and be prepared to work different days based on company needs.
This position is ideal for an officer looking to earn additional hours and overtime while maintaining a flexible work schedule.
Potential Shift Hours
Availability may be needed Monday through Sunday. Current potential shift hours include:
- Monday–Thursday: 10:00 AM–8:00 PM
- Friday–Saturday: 7:45 AM–8:15 PM
Additional shifts or schedule changes may be available based on operational needs.
Pay
- $25.00 per hour
- Overtime opportunities available
- Overtime paid in accordance with California law
Responsibilities
- Maintain a professional and visible security presence
- Monitor the property and surrounding areas for suspicious activity
- Enforce site rules, policies, and post orders
- Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies
- Provide professional customer service to clients, employees, and visitors
- Remain alert and attentive throughout the entire shift
- Arrive on time and fully prepared for all assigned shifts
Requirements
- Valid California Guard Card
- Valid California Exposed Firearm Permit
- Must own or have reliable access to all required duty equipment
- Reliable transportation
- Strong communication skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to accept shifts on a flexible or as-needed basis
- Must be dependable and punctual
