Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and replace tires on a wide range of vehicles, including passenger cars and light trucks
- Perform tire rotations, balancing, alignments, and wheel inspections to optimize vehicle performance
- Conduct automotive diagnostics to identify issues related to tires, brakes, suspension, and other mechanical components
- Assist with basic vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid replacements, and minor mechanical repairs
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete repairs and maintenance procedures
- Lift heavy tires and equipment regularly while adhering to safety protocols for heavy lifting and mechanical work
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and recommending appropriate solutions
Requirements
- Dealership experience or automotive repair background preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is key
- Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools in an automotive setting
- Experience with automotive diagnostics, fluid replacements, tire service, alignment, and minor mechanical repairs
- Ability to operate standard passenger vehicles safely and efficiently
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods during busy shifts
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude toward helping customers understand their vehicle needs
- Knowledge of automotive maintenance procedures including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and general repairs
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred
