Position Summary
We are actively hiring independent drivers to cover dedicated routes and on-call deliveries
Drivers are responsible for transporting lab samples, reports, and other critical materials safely, efficiently, and on time.
We currently have a strong need for overnight, early morning, and holiday coverage.
Responsibilities
- Safely pick up and deliver samples between facilities in Metairie, St. James, and surrounding areas
- Handle packages with care and maintain temperature control when required
- Follow all DOT and company safety guidelines
- Maintain professional communication with dispatch and clients
- Log routes, mileage, and delivery times accurately
- Report any route issues or incidents promptly
Requirements
- Must be 21 years or older with a valid driver’s license
- Reliable & efficient vehicle
- Clean driving record
- Smartphone with GPS and texting capability
- Professional appearance and reliability
- TWIC card is a strong advantage for secured facility access
- Prior courier, rideshare, or delivery experience preferred
