Mobile Diesel Technician – 2nd Shift Overview
P/M Services of NH is seeking several dedicated and energetic Mobile Diesel Technicians to join our growing team, supporting a diverse customer base across New England. As a Mobile Diesel Technician, you'll play a vital role in keeping some of the region's best fleets running smoothly and safely. This is a hands-on, on-the-road position ideal for independent, self-motivated individuals who thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy working outdoors with heavy equipment and big rigs.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to customer sites throughout the greater New England area to perform scheduled preventative maintenance on a variety of fleet vehicles, from small trucks to large equipment.
- Conduct thorough inspections, diagnose potential issues, and report findings to prevent costly breakdowns and ensure safety compliance.
- Prepare trucks for service and manage inventory as needed.
- Communicate technical issues clearly and professionally with customers, building and maintaining strong relationships.
- Complete all tasks efficiently and effectively, upholding the highest standards of service and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with team members and third-party vendors as required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- 2 pm - 12 am schedule (Monday to Friday).
- Willingness to work both in-person and on the road, with an expected 50 hours per week.
Preferred Skills

- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Experience with fleet maintenance or diesel equipment is a plus, but not required.
