Experienced Residential Remodel Plumber
P. J. Hussey Construction is looking for an experienced Residential Remodel Plumber to join our Phoenix-area renovation team.
We are looking for an experienced plumber with at least five years of hands-on experience in residential construction and remodeling, who can independently take plumbing work from underground and rough-in through final trim.
Responsibilities
- Perform plumbing work for residential remodeling, additions, and renovation projects
- Independently complete underground piping, rough-in, top-out, and trim plumbing
- Install, relocate, repair, and replace water supply, drain, waste, and vent piping
- Install and replace toilets, faucets, sinks, disposals, water heaters, fixtures, valves, and related components
- Diagnose and repair leaks, drainage issues, and other plumbing problems
- Modify and relocate plumbing for kitchens, bathrooms, additions, and whole-home renovations
- Read plans, take accurate measurements, and follow project specifications
- Determine and prepare the proper materials, tools, and equipment needed for assigned work
- Safely operate Kubota or comparable compact construction equipment for excavation, trenching, underground piping, and related work
- Coordinate with superintendents, project coordinators, subcontractors, and other trades
- Maintain clean, safe, and professional job sites
- Communicate professionally with homeowners when needed
- Complete work in accordance with applicable plumbing codes and P. J. Hussey Construction quality standards
Qualifications
- Minimum of five years of hands-on plumbing experience required
- Must be able to independently complete underground piping, rough-in, top-out, and trim plumbing
- Residential remodeling plumbing experience strongly preferred, including underground, rough-in, top-out, and trim work.
- Journeyman- and apprentice-level plumbers are encouraged to apply. A specific license classification is not required for this position
- Must have experience safely operating a Kubota or similar compact construction equipment for trenching, excavation, and underground plumbing work
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to identify and prepare materials required for each job
- Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
- Reliable, organized, safety-conscious, and respectful when working in occupied homes
- Ability to perform the physical duties associated with residential plumbing and construction work
Compensation
$30-$38 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
