We are seeking a dedicated Dentist to join our healthcare team within a correctional facility environment. Job Duties
- Provide Dental Services to inmates at assigned correctional facilities and other dental clinics, including diagnosis, operative/restorative, surgical (including extractions), and prosthetic treatment.
- Document and record patient treatment information as required by Dental Program guidelines, ensuring compliance with established standards.
- Provide comprehensive examinations of patients
- Diagnosis and treat diseases, injuries and malformations of teeth
- Tooth extraction of teeth and roots, implants
- Restore teeth, construct dentures and dental appliances
- Suture facial lacerations within and around the oral cavity
- Provide medications for infection control, pain control, and for the control or viral, bacterial and fungal infections.
- Ability to provide instruction on oral hygiene and methods of preventing the spread of oral diseases. Maintain charts and histories of clinical treatments.
Requirements:
- Must have a Michigan Dental License.
Pay: $114.19 per hour
