What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cemetery Worker position at P.I.E. Management, L.L.C.?
.P.I.E. Management, L.L.C., a professional staffing company, is looking to hire 1 seasonal Cemetery Maintenance worker for a local city department. This position will start the beginning of immediately with the potential to be all season based on Spring performance.
The position begins immediately. We are looking for 1 candidate that is dependable and can be relied on to work their scheduled hours every day they are designed. Cemetery Workers drive a yellow truck through the city and must exhibit professional behavior, representing the city to residents and visitors alike.
Please note this position will assist in getting the cemeteries all ready for Memorial Day with removal of leaves, making sure there are grave markers as appropriate, picking up sticks and trash. There will be graves that need to be dug and graveside services that need to be sets
Daily Responsibilities:
· This is the main part of the duties: Routine maintenance of city cemeteries to include: Installing markers, performing grave maintenance, assisting in digging graves with appropriate machinery, and assisting with burials as needed.
·Routine cleaning of city cemeteries to include cleaning bathrooms, vehicles, Office buildings; collecting trash and debris.
·Use light equipment, like Gators, zero turn lawn mowers, lawn maintenance equipment, and dump truck to complete mowing grass, trimming, pruning trees,
Requirements:
· Must be empathetic and be able to give examples of this.
· Worker with zero turn lawn mower and other landscaping equipment
· Ability to work Monday – Friday, 7:30 - 4:00 from now through approximately June
· High school diploma or GED equivalent
· Valid driver's license
· Must wear work boots
