Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Carpenter adn /or Roofer to join our dynamic construction roofing and renovation team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of carpentry, construction, and restoration projects with precision and professionalism. Your expertise will help ensure that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from remodeling and renovation to specialized restoration work, utilizing your extensive knowledge of construction techniques and tools.
Duties
- Perform framing, trim carpentry, cabinetry installation, door hanging, siding, roofing, and drywall work with accuracy and attention to detail
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide construction and restoration tasks
- Operate hand tools, power tools, CNC machines, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively
- Execute concrete forming, masonry work, rebar installation, plastering, stucco application, and tile laying as required
- Install fixtures, cabinetry, doors, windows, flooring, and metal studs while adhering to project specifications
- Conduct water damage restoration including mold remediation and water damage repair processes
- Assist in remodeling projects involving electrical wiring, plumbing systems, HVAC components, and construction painting
- Perform heavy lifting safely during material handling and project setup
- Fabricate custom components using woodworking skills or metalworking techniques as needed
- Follow safety protocols on construction sites to ensure a secure working environment for all team members
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction estimating, framing carpentry, trim carpentry, and general building practices
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics interpretation
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and fabrication equipment
- Experience with concrete forming, masonry work, rebar installation, plastering, stucco application, siding installation, roofing techniques, and flooring installation
- Familiarity with restoration industry practices including mold remediation and water damage restoration
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on various job sites
- Knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing installations or repairs is a plus
- Previous experience in manufacturing or assembly environments is advantageous
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach to craftsmanship
- Valid certifications in construction safety or specific trade skills are preferred but not mandatory
