P & D Sales and Service is the area PATZ Dealer! What is PATZ you ask? We service and install farm equipment! From barn cleaner units, alley scrapers, silo unloaders, mixers, conveyors, we install rubber flooring, we remodel barns, install free-stalls and the list goes on. We have two shop on wheels , that are fully stocked with parts to repair this equipment.
We are seeking a reliable Service Technician to join our team, with a willing to learn attitude. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks on farm equipment. If you have a passion for the farming industry and are not afraid to get your hands dirty, we want to hear from you!
Duties:
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes on mixers and planetary.
- Change hangers & hardware on Manure Augers
- Repair and replace parts, cables on alley scraper and barn cleaner units.
- Service and maintain our own Service Vehicles - oil changes, wash, tire rotation
Qualifications:
- Previous farming back ground is helpful but not required.
- Willing to train anyone willing to learn.
- Proficient with power tools and hand tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- Strong communication skills and ability to complete work slips on service calls.
