This is a multiple part-time positions with availability 2pm-6pm Monday-Friday. P and C Learning Center takes place in a daycare setting with exposure to noise, outdoor environments, and frequent interaction with children.

Primary responsibilities
- Work together with the lead teacher and teacher assistant to maintain a clean and safe learning environment.
- Work with lead teacher and teacher assistant to maintain teacher/children ratios.
- Develop relationships with families.
- Work together with the lead teacher and teacher assistant to communicate with families about the important updates, and classroom activities.
- Follow daily schedule
- Help with afternoon activities (snack time, big group time, pick up time etc.)
- Cleaning up of classroom/ arranging /organizing.
- Maintain the physical appearance, health, safety, and well-being of the children.
- Additional duties as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Coursework or certification in early childhood education, child development, or a related field (preferred)
- 1 year previous experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or similar setting (preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in working with young children.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, and actively engage with children throughout the day.
- CPR and First Aid certification is required or must be obtained within a specified period after employment.
