- Provide overall leadership and direction for all capital projects within the company.
- Develop project strategies, schedules, budgets, quality plans, and risk-mitigation frameworks.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to align project goals with organizational priorities and growth initiatives.
- Direct and manage the planning, engineering, procurement, and construction phases of capital projects.
- Ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor progress, identify challenges, and lead corrective actions to maintain schedule and budget integrity.
- Review and approve major project documentation including scopes, contracts, schedules, and change orders.
- Lead and mentor project managers, coordinators, estimators, and support staff.
- Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Provide coaching, training, and professional development to enhance project management capabilities.
- Develop and oversee capital project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance reporting.
- Analyze project cost data and ensure fiscal responsibility across all project phases.
- Partner with estimating and finance teams to support bid development, value engineering, and cost control.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, vendors, and external partners on capital project initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with customers through proactive communication and exceptional service.
- Oversee stakeholder expectations, updates, and issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure strict adherence to company safety policies, industry regulations, and environmental requirements.
- Lead quality assurance initiatives, including project audits, performance reviews, and safety meetings.
- Maintain compliance with applicable construction codes, permitting requirements, and operational standards.
- Drive improvements in project delivery processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies, systems, and best practices to enhance efficiency and transparency.
- Promote a culture of innovation to support long-term operational excellence and scalability.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
- 10 years of experience managing large capital projects, preferably in construction, industrial systems, or fuel-system infrastructure.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering multi-million-dollar projects on time and within budget.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills.
- Deep knowledge of project management methodologies, scheduling tools, and construction processes.
- Understanding of safety standards, regulatory requirements, and environmental compliance.
- Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and client-management abilities.
- PMP, PE, or similar certification is a plus.
- Strategic thinker with strong execution and follow-through.
- Highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented.
