Status: Part-Time, Hourly
Schedule: 4-5 days per week, 4-6 hours per day (minimum 20 hours/week) Between 8:00am-4pm
Reports To: Operations Manager
Location: PACrimson Office, Lombard, IL
Position Summary
PACrimson is looking for an organized, personable Customer Service & Dispatch Coordinator to support our office and field operations on a part-time basis. This person is often a customer's first point of contact and plays a key role in keeping our technicians' schedules accurate and our office running smoothly day to day.
Primary Responsibilities
- Answer incoming customer calls promptly and professionally, and direct or resolve inquiries as needed
- Make outbound calls to regular/recurring customers to confirm upcoming service and keep accounts current
- Review each technician's scheduled route for the next day to confirm stops, order, and timing make sense before the day begins
- Maintain printed materials and forms used by field technicians, restocking and updating as needed
- Keep shop logs and related recordkeeping accurate, current, and organized
Secondary Responsibilities
- Assist with coordinating and tracking subcontractor work
- Help schedule in-house technicians for service calls and jobs
- Help cover the incoming call queue during busy periods
Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable and friendly on the phone
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks at once
- Basic computer and data-entry skills; comfortable learning scheduling/office software
- Prior experience in dispatch, scheduling, or customer service is a plus, but not required
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision
