Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CDL driver to join our ready mix delivery team. As a CDL Ready Mix Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering concrete and other related products to our customers in both rural and urban environments.
About the Role: The ideal candidate will possess a valid Florida CDL with airbrakes endorsement and maintain a current medical certificate. You will work closely with our dispatch team to plan and execute daily deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Drive a medium duty truck to deliver concrete and other related products to customer job sites
- Conduct thorough pre and post trip inspections of the vehicle
- Lift, carry, and load extra items for delivery, such as heavy bags of calcium chloride and fibers
- Communicate effectively with customers and dispatch representatives while representing the company in a professional manner
- Maintain a clean and organized truck, including washing out the drum after loading and unloading the concrete
- Perform other duties as assigned by management, including shoveling, sweeping, or cleaning
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need a valid Florida CDL with airbrakes endorsement, a current medical certificate, and excellent communication and time management skills.
