The Nurse Residency program continues Ozarks Health Care's vision, mission and values, to provide superior nursing development to achieve the program goals.

  • Transition from the entry-level advanced beginner to competent nurse
  • Develop effective decision-making skills related to clinical judgment and performance
  • Provide safe patient care
  • Strengthen commitment to nursing as a profession
  • Incorporate evidence-based science into practice

Elgibility
  • Completion of RN program within the last 6 months
  • Current RN licensure preferred or scheduled with successful completion of NCLEX within 90 days
  • Commitment to the residency program including participating in general and specialized learning experiences, finishing activities related to the program and completing evaluations of the program, preceptors and facilitators
  • Commitment to Ozarks Health Care for one year
