Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to emergency calls for water, flood, fire, or mold-related incidents, demonstrating readiness for on-call coverage.
- Perform water damage restoration tasks including extraction, drying, dehumidification, and mold remediation using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and respiratory protection.
- Operate company vehicles safely to transport equipment and personnel to job sites while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, carpet cleaning equipment, and other restoration industry tools effectively to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
- Assist with construction-related activities such as demolition, debris removal, or minor repairs during restoration projects.
- Follow strict safety procedures during all operations to ensure personal safety and that of team members; maintain compliance with OSHA standards.
- Communicate professionally with clients and team members to ensure clear understanding of project scope and progress throughout each job.
Skills
- Demonstrated emergency response readiness with the ability to act swiftly in high-pressure situations.
- Experience in cleaning, fire restoration, flood restoration, water damage restoration, mold remediation, asbestos abatement or related fields is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of restoration industry standards such as Xactimate estimating software is a plus.
- Ability to operate company vehicles responsibly while following safety protocols.
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment used in water and fire damage repair projects.
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude when interacting with clients during stressful situations.
- Commitment to safety protocol adherence including PPE use and respiratory protection at all times during hazardous work environments.
