Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking Order Fulfillment & Production Support Associate to join our bakery team. This role is responsible for compiling customer orders, storing finished product, maintaining cleanliness throughout the facility, packaging finished bakery products, and supporting daily production operations. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in cold environments, pays close attention to detail, and takes pride in maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Key ResponsibilitiesFreezer & Cold Storage Operations
- Work regularly in freezer and refrigerated storage areas.
- Retrieve and organize frozen products for production and fulfillment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of cold storage areas.
- Accurately pick, organize, and prepare customer and wholesale orders for delivery and pickup.
- Label, count, and verify products to ensure order accurac
- Follow all food safety and handling procedures.
Sanitation & Cleaning
- Wash dishes, baking trays, utensils, and production equipment.
- Clean and sanitize bakery machinery according to established procedures.
- Sweep, mop, and maintain cleanliness of production floors and work areas.
- Assist with end-of-day and deep-cleaning tasks.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
Packaging & General Bakery Support
- Package bread, pastries and other bakery products according to quality standards.
- Assist bakers and production staff as needed.
- Help with receiving, stocking, and organizing ingredients and supplies.
- Perform additional tasks to support smooth bakery operations.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout an entire shift.
- Comfortable working in cold and freezer environments.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Previous food service, warehouse, bakery, or fulfillment experience is preferred but not required.
Schedule & Compensation
- 10am - EOD (usually 4-5pm), Tuesday - Friday
- Compensation: $15/hour during training & shadowing with Fulfillment Lead & Bakery Packaging & EOD Manager, for a minimum period of 90 days. Potential for raise after 90 days.
