Responsibilities
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a key role in supporting pharmacy operations and ensuring exceptional service to our long-term care partners.
Responsibilities include:
- Accurately and efficiently packaging prescriptions
- Entering prescriptions for pharmacist verification
- Working closely with pharmacists and fellow technicians to maintain workflow efficiency
- Answering incoming calls professionally and assisting with:
- New prescriptions
- Refills
- Facility and patient questions
- Prescription clarifications
- Assisting with billing and first-fill prescription processing
- Resolving prescription discrepancies and communicating effectively with facilities and healthcare staff
- Maintaining accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced pharmacy setting
- Supporting a positive team atmosphere and contributing to overall department success

Preferred Skills & Experience
- Pharmacy Technician experience preferred
- Long-term care pharmacy experience is a plus
- Familiarity with prescription processing and billing systems
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to quickly learn pharmacy procedures and workflows
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and/or sit for extended periods (6–8 hours)
- Frequent movement throughout the workday
- Ability to bend, kneel, reach, and retrieve stock items
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 40 pounds
- Comfortable working on a computer throughout the shift
