Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and conduct vehicle damage inspections.
- Prepare accurate repair estimates using industry estimating software.
- Communicate repair plans, timelines, and expectations with customers.
- Work directly with insurance companies, adjusters, and third-party administrators.
- Obtain approvals and supplements as needed throughout the repair process.
- Coordinate with production staff to ensure repairs are completed efficiently and accurately.
- Monitor repair progress and provide proactive updates to customers.
- Review completed repairs for quality and accuracy before vehicle delivery.
- Assist in maintaining repair cycle time goals and customer satisfaction objectives.
- Document all repair activity and maintain accurate records.
- Promote a positive customer experience that drives repeat business and referrals.
- Previous experience as a collision estimator, service advisor, or automotive repair professional preferred.
- Knowledge of collision repair procedures and vehicle construction.
- Experience with CCC ONE, Mitchell, Audatex, or similar estimating software preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to negotiate professionally with insurance representatives.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and manage several repair orders simultaneously.
- Proficient with computers and common business software.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
