Duties
- Deliver freshly prepared dishes from the kitchen to tables efficiently, maintaining food quality and presentation standards
- Assist servers by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and resetting tables quickly to ensure a smooth flow of service
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food delivery and address any special requests or dietary needs
- Handle food handling responsibilities with strict adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Support the kitchen team with basic food preparation tasks when needed, including plating or garnishing dishes
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order accuracy and efficient billing processes
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area and ensure all service stations are stocked and organized
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests
- Ability to stand for extended periods and move swiftly around the restaurant environment
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Familiarity with banquet service, bussing, or kitchen experience is advantageous
- Hospitality background including hotel or culinary experience is beneficial but not mandatory
- Demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service and guest satisfaction
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintaining a positive attitude
