Orthodontic Clinical Assistant (Experienced)

We are a fast-growing orthodontic practice, approaching our 1-year anniversary, and we’re excited to welcome an experienced Clinical Assistant to our team! We’re building something special and are looking for someone who brings great energy, takes initiative, and enjoys being part of a team that works hard and supports each other.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous orthodontic or dental assisting experience required
- Prior experience in an orthodontic setting highly preferred
- Strong familiarity with dental terminology
- Excellent chairside manner with a strong focus on patient experience
- Knowledgeable and trained in OSHA and infection control protocols
- Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- A positive, team-oriented mindset and willingness to jump in wherever needed
- A proactive, solution-oriented approach
- Someone who enjoys helping maintain and improve systems to support a smooth, efficient clinical flow
Key Responsibilities:
- Chairside assisting during orthodontic procedures
- Taking records (photos, scans, x-rays, impressions as needed)
- Lab ordering, appliance tracking to ensure we are prepared for each patient scheduled
- Preparing and breaking down operatories while maintaining OSHA/infection control standards
- Supporting an efficient, positive clinical flow and patient experience
- Assisting in maintaining and improving clinical systems and organization
- Jumping in wherever needed. We are a highly collaborative, cross-trained team that prioritizes supporting one another!
