What are the responsibilities and job description for the Export Coordinator - Intl Moving Dept position at Oz Moving & Storage, Inc.?
- Coordinate shipments with exporters and destination agents
- Communicate with customers, staff and vendors
- Correspond with overseas agents and clients
- Book cargo with NVO’s, drayage companies and our company dispatchers
- Handle AES and VGM filling
- Issue documents such as Bill of Lading, Dock Receipt, Delivery Order, etc.
- Handle the preparation of documents for export
- Send Pre-Alerts via email to destination agents
- Work with steamship line/trucking companies to obtain quotations and handle the movement of freight
Job Requirements:
- 3-5 years experience in ocean exports with a NVOCC/freight forwarder
- Knowledge of Export Regulations
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to meet strict deadlines daily
- Be able to work independently, multi-task, be a team player and work in a fast-paced environment
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
