We are seeking a Local Delivery Driver to join our Cape Girardeau team. This position is responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of packaged and bulk gas products to our customers in the region. Deliveries include a mix of industrial and medical gas cylinders as well as bulk oxygen deliveries to local facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a company vehicle to deliver products to customers within the Cape Girardeau region
- Load, unload, and handle compressed gas cylinders and related products
- Complete necessary delivery documentation and electronic logs accurately
- Ensure compliance with all DOT, OSHA, and company safety standards
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Provide excellent customer service while representing Ozarc Gas professionally
- Assist with other warehouse or operational duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid Class B CDL license
- Hazardous Materials (HazMat)Endorsement required
- Clean driving record and current DOT medical certification
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job, including:
- Lifting and carrying up to 75 pounds
- Frequent bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching
- Working in both indoor and outdoor environments in varying weather conditions
- Previous experience with gas or chemical delivery preferred, but not required
- Strong commitment to safety and customer satisfaction
