We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Worker to join our dynamic facilities team. Responsibilities
- Repairs & Maintenance: Fix plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems. Repair walls, floors, doors, and furniture.
- Preventative Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and maintenance tasks, such as replacing light bulbs, changing filters, and lubricating motors.
- General Grounds/Facilities: Perform landscaping, snow removal, and exterior maintenance.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose malfunctions in machinery or building systems and provide effective repairs.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all machinery and facilities adhere to safety regulations, including identifying hazardous conditions.
- Documentation: Maintain records of maintenance activities and work
Experience
- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in using hand/power tools and troubleshooting electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift at least 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work in various positions (bending, kneeling).
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with tenants, managers, or staff.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze issues, determine causes, and implement solutions.
- Experience: Previous experience as a maintenance worker, technician, or in a similar trade-based role.
