RN / Paramedic – IV Wellness (Wellness & Physical Therapy Center)Overview
Oxygen Wellness & Physical Therapy is a cash-based wellness and physical therapy center focused on recovery, performance, and preventative health. We are seeking a skilled RN or Paramedic with IV experience to join our growing wellness team.
This role is not a hospital or emergency medicine position. Our environment is calm, client-centered, and wellness-focused. We provide non-prescription IV nutrient therapies (such as NAD , Myers' Cocktail, Vitamin C, Glutathione, and Tri-Immune blends) and complementary recovery services. No prescription medications are administered.
The ideal candidate enjoys working with active adults, wellness-minded clients, and individuals focused on recovery, longevity, and performance—without the stress of acute or critical care.
Responsibilities
- Perform client intake and wellness screenings, including vitals, health history review, and contraindication checks
- Initiate and manage peripheral IVs using safe, sterile technique
- Administer non-prescription IV nutrient infusions per established wellness protocols
- Monitor clients during infusions for comfort, tolerance, and safety
- Provide a professional, calm, and reassuring client experience throughout treatment
- Educate clients on IV wellness services, hydration, and recovery support (non-medical education only)
- Maintain accurate documentation using a simple, user-friendly EMR system
- Follow all infection control, OSHA, and HIPAA standards
- Collaborate with front-desk staff, physical therapists, and wellness providers to ensure smooth client flow
- Assist with light operational tasks related to IV room setup, supplies, and turnover
What This Role Does Not Include
- No prescription medications
- No critical care, emergency medicine, or hospital-level procedures
- No airway management, ventilators, or invasive diagnostics
- No coding, billing, or insurance documentation
- No inpatient, hospice, trauma, or surgical care
Qualifications
- Active RN license or Paramedic certification (state of Arizona or eligible)
- Strong peripheral IV start and infusion management skills
- Experience in IV therapy, infusion services, EMS, outpatient care, or wellness clinics preferred
- Comfortable working independently within established protocols
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Professional, reliable, and client-focused demeanor
