We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated individual to fill the position of Vibration Analyst within our Pasadena Plant located in Pasadena, TX.
Essential Job Duties
- Vibration data collection and analysis
- Timely reporting of vibration analysis findings and recommendations
- Provide troubleshooting support and solve equipment problems by evaluating vibration patterns and incorporating other process information such as pressures, temperatures, flows, sound, etc.
- Maintain vibration database
- Support the development of equipment maintenance strategies related to vibration analysis monitoring
- Repair shop acceptance testing as needed
- Provide call out coverage as needed
- Assist with failure analysis of rotating equipment to determine root causes of failure and help determine solutions to prevent recurrence
- Provide oversight and mentoring to less experienced Millwrights and Vibration Technicians
- High School Diploma or GED
- ISO Category II Certification from a accredited certification provider (Vibration Institute, Mobius, Technical Associates, etc)
- 2 or more years of vibration monitoring experience including solving machine problems using vibration analysis
- Must be able to read process flow diagrams, P&IDs, mechanical drawings and follow mechanical specifications.
- Able to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed to maintain a 24/7 operating plant.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Ability to read, speak, and write English.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft applications (such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook), and a good working knowledge of SAP.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills include the ability to work as part of a team.
- Physical requirements – Must be able to lift 40 lbs, climb ladders and stairs. Walking, bending, stooping is required. Must be able to wear personal protective equipment including the use of a respirator. Must be able to respond to visual and audible alarms.
- Good working knowledge of SAP.
