We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated individual to fill the position of T&D (Transportation & Distribution) Sr. Accountant/Analyst.
Essential Job Duties
- Ensure accurate financial reporting for the OxyChem logistics chain monthly, quarterly, and annually through consolidated reports comparing actuals, outlook and plan.
- Responsible for financial impact across multiple business units and ownership of the company profit and loss T&D line.
- Develop strategic relationships with business managers and supply chain and influence decisions by providing measures for business effectiveness.
- Innovate creative solutions to further OxyChem being the Partner of Choice.
- Lead standardization efforts to promote consistent and accurate reporting.
- Demonstrate expertise in collecting, analyzing, and managing quantitative data to drive results.
- Ability to analyze purchase and lease scenarios and report results to senior management.
- Engage with business managers to ensure consistent application of contract terms.
- Support efforts during internal and external audits.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (minimum 18 hours in Accounting) required.
- 3 or more years of job-related experience
- Must be able to develop strong relationships within accounting, manufacturing sites, and commercial supply chain groups.
- Must be capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Other skillsets include experience with large-scale data mining and reporting tools such as: SAP S4, IBM Pax, Microsoft Power BI, and other data visualization applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
