iFactory AI is seeking a highly motivated Forward Deployment Engineer to lead the successful deployment of AI-native manufacturing solutions across industrial and manufacturing customers. This role sits at the intersection of customer success, manufacturing operations, industrial AI, and enterprise software delivery.
The Forward Deployment Engineer owns the customer journey from initial demonstrations through deployment, adoption, and long-term success. You will work closely with plant managers, quality teams, manufacturing leaders, operations personnel, and executive stakeholders to deliver measurable business outcomes.
Success in this position means helping customers successfully deploy AI-powered manufacturing solutions that improve quality, increase productivity, optimize production, and deliver measurable operational improvements.
This role is highly visible within the organization and works closely with sales, customer success, product management, AI engineering, and leadership teams. The position offers an opportunity to directly influence product adoption, customer outcomes, and the future of AI-native manufacturing.
ResponsibilitiesCustomer Success & Solution Ownership- Own the customer journey from product demonstration to production deployment.

- Deploy manufacturing execution and production optimization solutions.
- Configure AI dashboards, KPIs, and operational workflows.
- Validate solution performance and customer success criteria.
- Coordinate pilot projects and production rollouts.
- Analyze manufacturing processes and production workflows.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
- Translate business problems into technical solutions.
- Recommend process improvements based on operational data.
- Support quality, reliability, and productivity initiatives.
- Present business value and operational improvements to leadership teams.

One or more of the following qualifications are preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Operations Management, or related disciplines.
- Business degree with demonstrated technical or manufacturing experience.
- MBA with experience in manufacturing, enterprise software, consulting, operations, or technology delivery.

Experience- 2 years of experience in customer-facing roles such as solution engineering, implementation consulting, customer success, enterprise software delivery, technical consulting, or project management.
- Experience leading software implementations or customer deployments.
- Experience working directly with manufacturing, industrial, or operations teams.
- Experience managing multiple customer projects simultaneously.
- Experience presenting to technical and executive stakeholders.
