Oxford Solutions is seeking a Plant Engineer to join our client’s reliability and performance team at an industrial power plant. In this role, you’ll work with operations, maintenance, and project teams to improve plant performance, safety, and equipment reliability.
Responsibilities
- Support operations and maintenance with troubleshooting and process improvements
- Identify and resolve abnormal equipment and system conditions
- Provide technical guidance on maintenance procedures, repairs, and capital projects
- Assist in project development, budgeting, and execution
- Coordinate contractor work for testing, inspection, and maintenance
- Lead or support root cause analysis and reliability investigations
- Participate in outage planning and execution to ensure scope, schedule, and budget compliance
- Ensure all activities meet safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
- Create and manage Work Orders and project documentation
- Research and apply new technologies for predictive and preventive maintenance
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or related field)
- 5 years of experience in an industrial or power plant environment
- Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and mechanical systems
- Project management experience a plus
- Valid driver’s license required
