Oxford Solutions is seeking an HR Administrative Assistant to support our client’s Human Resources team in a full-time, onsite contract role. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys supporting employees and leadership, and can manage confidential information with a high level of professionalism.
In this role, you’ll partner with the HR Site Lead and broader HR team to assist with day-to-day administrative work across staffing, onboarding, records management, employee relations support, and general HR operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the HR team, including coordinating meetings, interviews, and schedules
- Process employee-related documentation such as new hire paperwork, terminations, pay changes, and personnel updates
- Maintain confidential HR files and databases; perform file audits to ensure documentation accuracy
- Manage pre-employment onboarding tasks and help coordinate new hire orientation
- Assist with HR reporting, gathering information, and preparing documents as needed
- Process HR-related invoices and payment requests
- Support HR events and employee activities
- Respond to routine employee questions and help guide them to appropriate resources
- Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and confidentiality standards
- Support additional HR tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma and 2 years of recent administrative experience, preferably within HR or another confidential environment
- Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook; Visio a plus)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Comfortable working onsite in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
- Associate degree in HR, Business, or a related field
- Experience with Oracle or similar HRIS systems
