Oxford Solutions is recruiting a General Manager for our medical equipment client. This is a hands-on leadership role within a fast-paced, growing company serving hospitals, universities, reference labs, and research institutions across the U.S. We are seeking an entrepreneurial, operations-minded leader who excels in building teams, growing revenue, and strengthening client relationships.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, small-company environment, can wear multiple hats, and is eager to guide both the people and the business toward long-term growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead and align sales, operations, finance, and client service teams
- Translate company goals into actionable plans and measurable results
- Oversee sales pipeline, forecasting, and revenue performance
- Build, mentor, and develop high-performing cross-functional teams
- Strengthen client relationships with hospitals, universities, and labs nationwide
- Manage daily operations to ensure quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
- Learn product and technical processes at a functional level to guide teams
- Oversee P&L, budgeting, financial reviews, and margin improvement
- Implement and refine systems, workflows, and SOPs
- Identify new market opportunities and support business development efforts
- Represent the company at client meetings, industry events, and conferences
- Travel as needed to support clients and business initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or related field
- 7 years of management experience with proven team leadership success
- Strong track record with sales pipelines, revenue growth, and client retention
- Experience overseeing operations and financial performance (including P&L)
- Willingness to learn technical aspects of medical/lab equipment
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, small-team environment with multiple responsibilities
- Onsite availability 5 days a week with willingness to travel
