Job Description:
The Oxford Public Schools is seeking a Data Secretary to coordinate accurate and timely handling of various responsibilities related to state data reporting, civil rights data management, and PSIS enrollment. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, organization skills, and the ability to coordinate with multiple departments for seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities: (list not all inclusive)
- Responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of State Data Reports.
- Collaborate with the IT Department for ensuring continuity in report generation.
- Conduct ongoing audits of data records
- Collaborate on the Civil Rights Data Collection federal report.
- PSIS data collection and reporting (including registrations)
- Districtwide lead for registration, including annual Kindergarten registrations
- Monitoring and processing claims for Worker’s Compensation
- Any other duties as assigned by the Assistant Superintendent or Superintendent
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in data management and reporting.
- Familiarity with PSIS systems
- Familiarity with Student Information Systems (Preferably PowerSchool)
- Knowledge of lunch program coordination and civil rights data, preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively
- Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Proficient in data systems and data system administration
