We are seeking a Chiropractic Therapy Assistant to join our team at Oxford Health and Wellness Center. This role is essential in supporting our chiropractors and ensuring a positive experience for our patients. You will play a key part in the delivery of care and wellness services in a friendly and professional environment. Oxford Health and Wellness Center provides Chiropractic Care, Spinal Decompression, Knee Decompression, Peripheral Neuropathy treatments, and Physiotherapy services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and communicate with patients in a friendly, professional manner
- Clearly explain therapy procedures and answer patient questions
- Administer and monitor therapeutic modalities
- Assist patients in safely getting on and off equipment
- Maintain therapy logs
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure cleanliness and equipment readiness
- Collaborate with the doctors and other team members to ensure a seamless, caring experience for patients
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Friendly, calm, and professional demeanor, especially under pressure
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
- Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Sports Management, Biomechanics, Biology, Personal Training or Athletic Training education or experience preferred but, not required
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and assist patients throughout the day
- Ability to lift or move up to 25 lbs. occasionally
Weekly Schedule:
Monday 8:15am-7:00pm Tuesday 8:00am-5:00pm Wednesday 8:15am-7:00pm Thursday 8:15am-6:00pm Friday 8:15am-1:00pm
