Now Hiring: Health Aide/Caregiver
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and engage residents in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation.
- Help with meal preparation, serving, and feeding assistance as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment in resident living areas.
- Observe and report changes in residents' conditions to nursing staff.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Experience as caregiver or support staff is a plus.
- Incorporating Harm Reduction, Informed Trauma Training and De-escalation techniques.
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards individuals from diverse backgrounds, including the underserved population.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine interest in working with seniors.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions.
- Willingness to undergo background checks and required training.
