Collections & Accounts Receivable Opportunity
Oxford Health Group is seeking an experienced Collections Coordinator to support resident accounts across our senior living communities.
We're looking for someone with experience in collections, accounts receivable (AR), healthcare billing, resident accounts, payment reconciliation, or business office operations who is organized, persistent, detail-oriented, and comfortable resolving account issues from start to finish.
You'll work closely with Business Office Managers and regional leadership to monitor past-due balances, research discrepancies, resolve billing and payment issues, and maintain accurate collection records.
What You'll Do
- Monitor past-due resident accounts across multiple senior living communities
- Follow up on outstanding balances and payment issues
- Audit accounts and research billing or payment-posting discrepancies
- Work with Business Office Managers to resolve resident account issues
- Maintain accurate records of collection efforts and outstanding items
- Provide regular updates on unresolved accounts
- Review, submit, and track accounts requiring write-off approval
- Escalate accounts when repeated collection attempts are unsuccessful
- Support community teams with resident Social Security adjustment needs
- Assist with collections reports, account tracking, and related projects
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of related professional experience, preferably in healthcare
- Experience in collections, accounts receivable, billing, resident accounts, payment reconciliation, or healthcare finance
- High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
- Strong organizational, follow-up, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to handle sensitive or difficult conversations professionally
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and email
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to resident payment accounts
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to communities occasionally
Experience in senior living, assisted living, skilled nursing, healthcare collections, medical billing, patient accounts, resident accounts, or multi-site healthcare business office operations is especially relevant.
