Job Summary
Oxford grave and vault provides funeral services. We do the grave openings and closing, grave vault placement and cemetery setups for funeral services. This is a 6-7 day a week job.
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Laborer to join our manufacturing team. In this dynamic role, you will be instrumental in supporting daily production operations, handling materials, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Your hands-on contributions will help ensure the smooth flow of manufacturing processes, from assembly to warehouse management. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop mechanical skills and gain valuable factory experience in a fast-paced manufacturing facility.
Duties
- Assist with the assembly of products using hand tools and power tools, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Operate forklifts safely to move materials and supplies within the manufacturing area and warehouse.
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery and tools to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards.
- Be able to work on your own and problem solve when needed.
Skills
- Proven experience operating forklifts and familiarity with warehouse procedures.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively.
- Ability to follow safety guidelines diligently while working with machinery and materials.
- Good physical stamina for lifting, standing, walking, and performing manual tasks throughout shifts.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills and improving processes.
