Senior Consultant--Senior Data Engineer

Job Description:The Senior Data Engineer plays a pivotal role in transforming how data is accessed, processed, and utilized across the organization. This position focuses on extracting data from silos, automating workflows, and ensuring seamless data availability to address critical business questions. The Data Engineer will lead efforts to improve data feeds, optimize data infrastructure, and enhance data quality, scalability, and reliability.This role operates within an Agile environment, requiring collaboration with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative, data-driven solutions. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong technical acumen in Databricks, ETL development, and data pipeline automation, with the ability to design and manage large-scale, high-performance data systems.This is a hybrid position.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL workflows using Databricks, SQL, and Python.Implement and optimize batch ETL processes and Kafka streaming integrations.Collaborate in Agile sprints to deliver scalable, data-driven capabilities aligned with mission needs.Improve data quality, governance, and standardization across multiple data domains.Design, test, and deploy automated solutions to extract, transform, and load data across systems.Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and technical reviews to ensure solution alignment.Support continuous improvement efforts for data infrastructure and analytics enablement.Develop functional expertise in assign business areas.Work with developers to identify impacts to operations processes and reporting as part of the SDLC.Minimum Qualifications:U.S. citizenshipBachelor’s degree or four additional years of experience5 years of relevant experience, commercial experience desiredOracle PLSQL Developer, SQL, Oracle OEM, CloudwatchData modeling, integration, and engineeringDatabricks PlatformData governance tool such as AlationPython or shell scriptingExcellent verbal and written English communication skillsExcellent problem-solving skills
