Buyer Procurement Specialist

Location: Onsite in Tampa, FL

Client has a unmanned fixed wing aircraft program underway that requires some design changes. The Supply Chain team is now falling behind with having to get new costs, new sourcing, identify the pricing with new components and need pricing analysis done as they prepare to grant awards but lack the justification & documentation support for their direct procurement and materials management dept.
This is NOT commercial and must have someone form a Military or DoD background. This Buyer Procurement specialist will help perform quoting, source selection, PO file documentation, and expedite the pricing analysis for materials such as hardware, electronic assemblies, mechanical assemblies, machined parts, and composite parts (they are making a drone/ UAV).
Main focus is costs impacts and comparing costs from bids while being able to write justification of bids. Comparing Supplier A to Supplier B and help with securing awarding.
MUSTs:
- Previously DoD contract or procurement specialist
- Military applications and familiar with comparing supplier bids to evaluate pricing
- Purchase Order packaging and price costs analysis
- Materials and components sourcing experience ideally from aerospace, aircraft, space or related Military/ DoD customers
PLUSs:
- CPCM and CFCM (both from NCMA)
- Any procurement for ITAR or DFARs
